This Master Class covers all the basics of using print able conductors for additive manufacture of circuits on polymer substrates. It teaches the user about the different types classes of conductive inks available, and how to characterize the performance and cost of them. It also gives an overview of traditional and digital printing methods, drying/curing/sintering methods, and design and assembly differences compared to ‘printed’ circuit boards.

I've spent my entire 20+ year career working on many of the technical aspects of printable electronically functional materials, 'printed electronics', and additive manufacture of flexible hybrid electronic devices. I have extensive experience in chemical precipitation synthesis of metallic nanoparticles, colloid and dispersion stabilization methods, and formulation of printable functional ‘inks’ for electronics applications. I'm also proficient in conventional and direct write printing methods, flash lamp curing, and other processing technologies for additive manufacture of 2D flexible and 3D hybrid electronics. Although primarily serving technical roles related to these technologies in title, I have spent a significant portion of my time doing business development related activities over the past decade as well.
